Your child will become empowered with the necessary skills to become a talented student. We help your four year old learn the con dence needed to become a successful problem solver and decision maker. Your child will have lots of opportunity to learn important social skills such as cooperative play and good communication. Your child will be given the opportunity to enhance their learning skills and be both socially and academically ready to attend kindergarten.
Tentative Daily Routine
Free Play
Children have the opportunity to interact with each other as they play and explore the various areas in our classroom from blocks to dress up, to art.
Clean Up
All children will learn to work together to keep our classroom environment clean.
Welcome, Flag, and Calendar
We sing our welcome songs, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and practice using the calendar
Lively Letters and Phonics Lesson and Practice
We will learn the sounds of our letters through stories, songs, actions, and visuals with nemonic devices. We will play phonics games to give lots of phonemic awareness practice and use letters the blend and build words.
Handwriting Practice
We will practice handwriting using various sensory mediums to reinforce our letter formations. we will also use paper and pencil when children demonstrate they are ready.
Clean up & Snack
During this time kids will clean up from their activity and prepare for snack.
Numbers and Math Lesson and Practice
We will learn our numbers, and other important math skills including sorting, patterning, graphing, and problem solving thorough fun hands on games and activities.
Centers or Outside Recess Time
Various centers and activities will be set out for the kids to explore that will allow for ne motor skiils, critical thinking, and practicing mathematical and phonological skills. Free Play outisdie with with balls, sand , sensory, and swingset and slide.
Story Time & Discussion
The kids will have the opportunity to listen to various picture books and participate in discussions in order to strengthen reading comprehension skills.
Theme Activity time
During this time we will be incorporating music, creative movement, art, science, and social studies as we have fun activities and lessons about our theme. All our themes are designed to help children with valuable life skills and social emotional learning.
Clean up and Good Bye Time
Our goodbye routine involves singing and saying goodbye to each of our friends and helping children get ready to go home, we also review important skills we have learned that day!
